Un rejects Serbia’s request

Council of Security rejected Serbia’s request upon the alleged crimes mentioned in the Dick Marty’s report.

USA, Germany, Great Britain, Portugal, France and other states that support the Kosovo independence have expressed their trust on EULEX and underlined that there is no need for other investigation mechanism regarding Dick Marty’s report.

Serbia submitted the request at the UN meeting of this Thursday. The Serbian Foreign Minister, Vuk Jeremic, officially demanded from the Council of Security the creation of a UN mechanism for investigating the alleged crimes.
