The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, met with his Parma counterpart, Federico Pizzarotti, with whom he discussed cooperation in culture, mobility, and advanced technology.
“I am happy that we have a concrete cooperation with Parma, mainly as regards culture, but also for mobility matters and smart cities. We are lucky to be close to Italy, close to Parma, close to cities that are leading the development and modernization of Europe. I am looking forward to do even more”, Veliaj said.
Parma Mayor, Federico Pizzarotti, praised the transformation of the Skenderbej Square, valued the existing friendship between both cities and thanked Mayor Veliaj for the hospitality.
Pizzaroti underlined that in Parma they will sign the document that officializes the friendship between both cities.
Both Mayors planted a tree at the Skenderbej Square park to celebrate their cooperation.
