The three years of the judiciary reform, US Embassy publishes video illustration

Three years after the Constitutional Amends which enabled the judiciary reform, supported by the EU and USA, which led to the firing of many judges and Prosecutors, the US Embassy in Tirana published a video message which answers to the questions: What is the judiciary reform? How is it being implemented? How will it affect the life of the Albanian citizens?

The US Embassy underlines that the judiciary reform will make sure that everyone is equal in front of the law. The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said through a video-message that he is proud that the Socialist Party joined the right side of the history, the people who took the judiciary reform ahead.

However, the opposition’s Democratic Party insists that that after three years, the only result is a judiciary system captured by the government.
