Kosovo Prime Minister, Hashim Thaçi presented to KFOR General,
Erhard Buhler, the conditions of the government for achieving an
agreement between KFOR and Serbia.
The list that was created by the government of Kosovo has 10 points that have been published in the daily “Zwri”.
1. Removing roadblocks
2. Keeping current status in border checkpoints in principle
3. KFOR will be responsible for the checkpoints
4. The gates should be closed, for security reasons, and there should be military restricted areas.
5. The humanitarian aid will be allowed to enter Kosovo with trucks that are not heavier than 3,5 t, but only after an independent institution would assess if there actually is a humanitarian need for aid.
6. The goods for the Serbian Orthodox Church will be allowed to pass.
7. Every vehicle should be searched for guns.
8. The ID of every person should be required.
9. The Belgrade-Prishtina train should be controlled by EULEX and Kosovo Police, with the help of KFOR.
