Tax Director: “Small businesses, simpler VAT procedures, no sanctions for first mistakes”

Starting from April 1st, businesses who have an annual turnover more than 2 million ALL will be included in the VAT scheme.

Despite many protests throughout the country, there is no turning back. 9900 subjects will have to complete each month their VAT application.

The Tax Director, Vasilika Vjero, said that the tax for business will be much simpler, not as sophisticated as for other subjects.

“The administration will not be strict for mistakes during the first declarations”, Vjero explained.
