Although Serbia scored since the 5th minute of the game, Switzerland’s Albanian player Granit Xhaka equalized for his team at the 52nd minute, and his goal celebration couldn’t be without the symbol of the Albanian eagle on the Kaliningrad Stadium.
The game changed and Switzerland became more aggressive during the entire second half, until another Albanian star of Switzerland’s team, Xherdan Shaqiri, scored the second goal. And certainly, his celebration was with the symbol of Albania’s double-headed eagle.
Switzerland moved to four points with this victory, putting them at the same position with Brazil and increasing their chances to qualify from Group E.
