SP, concern on fake identity cards

SP deputies have secured a series of identity cards, while there is information for thousands of other documents that are being given to people who are trying to deform the electoral process.

The cards have different elements through which you can tell the originals from the fake ones.

“We have five cards with the same signature. If you see the original card, you can see the reflexes. The original card has also the eagle with “Albania” written upon it. The fake card is a simple plastic sheet, without reflections”, declared Paulin Sterkaj.

According to them, fake cards differ at the rear surface.

“The original card has four fingers on the left and three on the right. If you see the fake cards, this feature is missing”, Sterkaj declared.

Same thing goes for the palstic material.

“The original card is thin, elastic, can be folded and then can return at the original position. The fake card will be folded and will not return at the original position”, Sterkaj underlined.

SP Deputy Tom Doshi reveals other details.

“The people with these names do not know that these cards actually exist. They live in Italy, and this has been done with all fake cards. They have taken measures to register fake entries in the Albanian airport, for the only purpose of manipulating the elections. They stole the 2009 elections and they want to do it again”, Doshi declared.

Sources from the Socialist Party declare that their commissioners have undergone a special training for detecting and stopping anyone with fake cards.

Despite this, the Socialists underline that this is a criminal act and people who will attempt to manipulate the process risk five years in prison, a punishment that, according to the Socialist Party, will be given to anyone that will try to manipulate May 8th elections.
