Soreca: Enlargement and the Balkan region, a priority for EU

The EU Ambassador to Tirana, Luigi Soreca, wrote on social networks that the integration of the Balkan Region into the block remains a priority for the EU.
“The region and the enlargement process are a priority in the EU agenda.
“The new European Commission made it clear that our commitment to the region’s EU perspective remains unchanged.
“While the EU is bound to fulfill its commitment, the same should be done by the region’s governments as well.
“As MPs, you have a decisive role in holding your governments accountable for their promises, and for reform in basic areas, such as the rule of law”, Soreca declared.
