Snowy and rainy weather continues in the north and southeast of Albania

In Theth and Dukagjini, the level of snow has reached over 20 centimeters but no problems were reported.

There are over 30 centimeters of snow at the tourist village of Vermosh. Electrical power remains a problem in this area as some villages are in darkness, while some roads are frosty.

Puka municipality is working to clear the city roads from frosts while in the villages the snow is up to 20 centimeters. In the municipality of Shkodra there has been almost 24-hour rainfalls.
In the Bulqiza district, rainfall has continued mainly in mountainous areas. There are traffic problems in the administrative units of Ostren and Trebisht.

In Korca there has been heavy rainfall overnight in mountainous areas at altitudes above 1200m, such as in Dardha, Voskopoja and Qafa e Qarrit.

In Librazhd’s Stebleva snow thickness is 30 cm and the fall continues. The Librazhd-Peshkopi road axis is passable with snow-chains in some parts. There has been snowfall in the mountainous areas of Prrenjas, Sopot and Rrajce, and there are problems with electrical power in some villages.

The sea wave power in Vlora is magnitude 6 offshore, and up to 5 inside the bay.
Today as well as yesterday small boats were not allowed to sail, while the Brindisi-Vlora ferry arrived around 8am but due to inclement weather will not travel to Italy in the afternoon.
