The leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Monika Kryemadhi, has sent an official letter regarding the judiciary reform to the US and EU Ambassadors to Tirana, Donald Lu and Romana, and also to other EU representatives in EU and Albania.

The letter focuses on the implementation of the judiciary reform and the important role of international partners in the creation of a new political climate.

“The most critical problem remains the implementation of the judiciary reform. The arrogant behaviour of the majority has undermined political dialogue. The most intolerable moment was the ignoring of the opinions brought by the International Monitoring Operation for the candidates appointed by the General Secretary of the Parliament (former General Secretary of Minister Tahiri). The actions of the majority belong to a political line that aims to capture the judiciary. Capturing the judiciary will have serious social-political consequences for the country”, says the letter of Kryemadhi.

The SMI leader reiterates that her party voted the seven laws of the judiciary reform without any doubts because they were granted by the EU and USA, but time had proven the Democratic Party right.
