The Socialist Movement for Integration presented its propositions for the next education budget through their MPs at the parliamentary commission, Kejdi Mehmetaj, Nora Mala and Shezai Rrokaj.

MP Mehmetaj says that the main proposition of the SMI is to have 5% of the GDP for education, 3% for pre-university level and 2% for universities and scientific researches.

SMI will also propose to separate the professional from general education, to make it clear for high-school students what the job-market is offering.

As for the next year’s budget, Mehmetaj said that the government is using 0.7% less money than in 2016.
