The Albanian athlete from Shkodra, Izmir Smajlaj, won the European Championship for small countries, a competition attended by 18 countries.
Smajlaj jumped 7.9 meters, although he lost the 8.2 meters record due to a milimetric foul.
The competition was held in Lichtenstein. This is another triumph for the Shkdora athlete, after becoming European Chamion in Serbia, during last year.
