Skopje rejects any invitation from the Eurasian Economic Union after Macron’s refusal to open EU accession negotiations

The Prime Minister of Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, said that his country has not received an invitation from the Eurasian Economic Union, and he hopes that it will never come because N.Macedonia don’t even think about joining them.

The invitation was made unofficially by the Permanent Representative of Russia in the EU, Vladimir Chizhov, during the Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona, Italy, this Friday.

Russia’s invitation came a few days after the French President, Emmanuel Macron, gave a negative answer regarding the EU accession negotiations of these countries.
