Secret Service reports increased efforts for establishing Russian influence in Albania

The Head of the Albanian Secret Service, Helidon Bendo, declared in front of the Parliamentary Committee for National Security that there are concerns for the increasing efforts to establish Russian influence in Albania.
Some of the National Security Committee insisted on this matter by posing him a series of question, including whether Russia’s influence includes higher political levels, but Bendo said that they don’t have such information.
The Democratic Party MP, Myslym Murrizi, asked Bendo if they have information about a group of corrupted officers among the state police. Bendo replied that there is no such thing as organized groups of corrupted officers.
