Saranda is seeing its peak of tourism in the last days of August.
Tourists speak of normal costs of services, but for locals, Saranda has a high living standards and prices are offered with tourism-standard even for them.
“People are very nice. Prices as nice. The hospitality as well. Prices as much cheaper than in the Netherlands and Corfu. The only bad thing I noticed is that every place has the same food. There is no diversity”, says a tourist from the Netherlands.
An Italian who was visiting Saranda for the first time said that everything was normal, prices were good and cheaper than in the neighboroign countries.
However, for the Head of Tourist Operators, the situation is not as optimistic as one year ago.
