From today, Rudina Hajdari will be the head of the Independent Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party in Parliament. She makes a strong appeal for them and for every Albanian democrat.
She said that the new opposition will not boycott the elections of June, and added that their request is to find a solution for changing the system, so that the next MPs can be decided by the people.
“We are against the constitutional amends of 2008, which degraded the electoral system. We are open to find a better system. This is our only and most important cause. We represent the people. We don’t want to boycott the elections of June. Time is not in our favor. We cannot play outside the rules. We must stay within the Constitution”, Hajdari said.
