The bad situation of the Tirana-Durres railway is expected to change soon, after securing funds for its rehabilitation.
The government has approved the 35.4 million EUR fund from foreign donators, which will make way for works on the terrain.
The 90-million-EUR investment will have funds from the EU, EBRD, while the Albanian government will cover VAT and expropriations.
The investment will connect the Rinas Airport with Tirana’s new Boulevard.
