The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, responded to the US Ambassador about Balili, who said that the Albanian government, police and prosecution failed to arrest him, and said that this person will eventually be arrested, although it is not an easy task.
“I understand the concern of the US Ambassador. It is necessary to arrest him, but let’s not forget that just a few years ago he was transportation director”, Rama said.
“Today he is on the run and, in cooperation with our partners, he will be arrested. Although it is not easy, as shown by the examples of other countries”, Rama said.
