Rama: “Gambling business is funded by crime”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said that the closing of betting shops will be a gift for every Albanian family.

The Prime Minister said that after January 1^st, all betting shops in Albania will be closed.

The Minister said that the gambling business was being used for money laundering, and was funded by crime.

Rama added that 95%of the current players will not be able to bet after January 1^st.
