Rama: FRONTEX presence shows the importance of future EU expansion

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said that the FRONTEX mission in Albania is a clear element that shows Albania’s cooperation with the EU.
“This is one more reason to be proud that we are taking part in an important project for Europe. The other reason is personal, because I am here today with a friend, Dimitri Avramopoulos, without whom this important project would be impossible”, he said.
Rama added that Albania has all the capacities to confront the migratory flux that comes from other countries. But the agreement serves to the point that the success of this cooperation will show how important will be the cooperation in the future, with a further extension of the EU borders.
