Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, reacted after the Electoral College
decision by declaring that the opposition will continue the legal battle until the
end of this process that is blocking the entire country.
“The Electoral College did not have the courage to watch the truth in the eyes. We did not receive the deserved justice, because the Electoral College accepted our appeal only partially. The process returned today at the table of electoral cannibalism: at the Central Election Commission, where our victory was stolen”, Rama declared, reminding that CEC tabulates were exactly the ones that showed more ballots than voters.
The Socialist leader declared that:
“The process was a significant example for the urgent need of making this regime leave as soon as possible, and one reason more for continuing the opposition battle, with the faith given by justice that is on our side”.
