The Albanian President, Ilir Meta, was honored in Kosovo with the “Order
of Independence” award, given to him in a solemn ceremony for his
contribution in Kosovo’s independence.
Meta said that this decoration is an evaluation for everything that Albanian citizens have done to support Kosovo’s freedom and independence.
“This is a special surprise, an evaluation for everything that the citizens of Albania have done to suport the freedom and independence of Kosovo. I want to promise here further efforts to strengthen the independence, increase international recognition and for realizing the European aspiration of Kosovo, which is important for the entire region”, Meta said.
