The Socialist Party accused Prime Minister Sali Berisha of power abuse. According to the opposition, the prime minister of the poorest country in Europe is buying with the tax payers’ money a 497.000 euros car, or “a luxury armored car”, as Socialist Deputy Taulant Balla described it.
“Sali Berisha reduced the number of cars used by police officers, prosecutors, judges and constitutional institutions, with the pretext of lowering expenditures. But he exchanged all of those cars with a single one, a luxury armored car for himself. This armored car was bought with Albanian tax payers’ money by the Prime Minister of corruption. 497.000 euros spent on a wheeled bunker.” Balla said.
“The monthly pensions of 10 thousand senior citizens were spent to satisfy Berisha’s personal commodities on his mobile bunker, while Albanians suffer the economical crisis brought to them by this regime of murderers and thieves. How can this prime minister pretend that people elected him with free votes, when he’s a victim of his own nightmare? The Albanian people will never again believe the shameful lies of this murderous and thief. Today it is clearer than ever before that Berisha is not the prime minister of a democratic country, elected on free votes. He is an autocrat who fears his own people. Albanians will never give their votes again to Sali Berisha” Balla also emphasized.
