The President of Albania, Ilir meta, was received by the US Congressman, Eliot Engel, chairman of the Foreign Policy Commission and one of the persons who has contributed the most in reinforcing the Albanian-American relations.
The President thanked Engel for his role and asked him to influence the US administration not only for improving the mutual relations but also for the Euro-Atlantic challenges of the region.
“Kosovo must take special attention, which is in a special moment that could finalize a stable and long-term agreement with Serbia, which will bring security and stability in the region”, Meta said.
