Top Channel’s journalist, Muhamed Veliu, reported that the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party has collected 55 signatures for removing the President from his post.
35 signatures are enough for the request to be filed, but the Socialists had also the signatures of some new MPs who have replaced their DP and SMI colleagues.
In the meanwhile, the Parliament approved a resolution today in which they condemned Meta’s decision to repeal the decree which appointed June 30th as the date for the local elections.
94 votes are needed for removing Meta from his post as president. The approval of this resolution with 100 votes showed that Rama has the numbers.
