Opposition resumes protests

Socialist Party supporters have started protests in some of Albania’s main cities.
In Vlore, the protesters started from the main square “Sheshi i Flamurit” and went towards the bridge “Ura e Mifolit”, while dozens of citizens in the city of Fier marched from the city center to the “Mbrostari” bridge.
In Kruja, citizens blocked both sides of the highway “Tirana-Shkoder” and police oriented cars in two other roads.
Protesters in Korçe blocked the road that connects the city with Pogradec, while Elbasan SP supporters marched from the city’s outskirts towards the town of Librazhd.
Protesters in Gjirokaster blocked the road that leads to Tepelena, while in Saranda, SP supporters blocked the “Gajdari” bridge.
The crowds were headed by SP leaders.
