The Democratic Party and their allies gathered in a meeting, together
with SMI leaders, to discuss their political actions after the facts
that went public by the Habilaj case.
Basha said that Albania is standing on the edge of a real precipice right now, and the united opposition wants the Prime Minister to resign.
“Prime Minister Rama, who has directly profited from crime and his ministers tied to crime, demands the creation of an anti-mafia government”, Basha said.
Basha underlined that Albanians have evidence that the politics has ties with the crime.
“Can we go on like this? Can we trust this cupola in power? Can there be free and fair elections with a majority captured b crime? The answer for every Albanian is ‘no’”, Basha said.
The leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Monika Kryemadhi, said that the meeting of the opposition is a positive signal.
“The opposition’s front will start its commitment against a Narco-state”, Kryemadhi said.
