Matthew Palmer meets the new US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim

Yuri Kim has taken her oath as US Ambassador in Albania. She will arrive in our country very soon.

The Ambassador has recently held a meeting with Matthew Palmer, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and Special Envoy for Wester Balkan.

The two high-level US officials discussed the stance held by Albania towards Iran, and the dialogue started for the electoral reform.

“Deputy Assistant Secretary and Special Representative for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer met with Ambassador Yuri Kim to discuss Albania’s courageous and principled stance on Iran as well as the positive news on cross-party commitment to achieving electoral reform in line with OSCE/ODIHR recommendations. USA stands with Albania”, says the US Embassy on its social networks.
