The Syrian citizens who have escaped war have traveled all around the world.
Some of them go through Albania on their way to the EU, but 100 of them have demanded political asylum in our country. They are accommodated at the Babrru Center.
One of them is a 17-year-old boy, Amir, who has emigrated together with his family.
“We traveled from Aleppo to Libya, Turkey, Greece and now in Albania. Police is good here. There are Syrian families that receive help in Gjirokastra”, Amir said.
He doesn’t know about the bombing of the USA, Great Britain and France, and he doesn’t want to go back to his country.
In Babrru there are other citizens as well, who have entered Albania under the same conditions.
