The Prime Minister of Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, visited Prishtina today where he was received by his Kosovo counterpart, Ramush haradinaj, and Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli.

Haradinaj valued that both countries have excellent political and economic relations.

“This visit helps us to progress with the relations between Kosovo and Macedonia. We have undertaken many obligations, which will be finalized in the future even in the joint meetings between the Kosovo and Macedonian governments, for the best of both countries”, Haradinaj said.

Zaev asid that Kosovo should rely in Skopje’s support in all its future processes, leaving to be understood that there will be support for Kosovo’s UNESCO accession.

In this meeting he underlined the importance of economic development, increased trade exchange and concrete projects, such as highway between both countries.

Zaev also mentioned a sensible topic, the “Kumanova” case.

“This is a very sensible case, which was not provoked by Zaev or by Ramush Haradinaj. Citizens deserve the truth about this matter. We have agreed that there will be international investigation, or we will have expert representatives who will verify all elements and evidence”, Zaev said.

Haradinaj was invited by Zaev to visit Macedonia during the beginning of the next year, when both governments will also have a joint meeting.
