Kukan suggests Venice Commission to assist

Eduard Kukan, head of the European Parliament for Southeastern Europe
suggested the Electoral College to receive help from Venice
Commission in order to take a professional decision, uninfluenced by the
politics.

During an interview for DW, Kukan declared that the ruin of these elections’ integrity damages Albania, especially people’s interests.

In his interview, Kukan declared that if experts have doubts, they could address to international justice institutions, maybe the Venice Commission.

“I think that international institutions might help in guaranteeing a right decision from the Electoral College, decisions that must be in full accordance with the law and totally independent”, Kukan declared.
