Kosovo Parliament said “no” to the amending of the law on the university
education system, which provided religious education in schools.
According to Kosovo media, after many strong debates, 64 voted against, one abstained and 18 voted in favor.
Afterwards, the Parliament reviewed 14 draft-laws that are reflected in the EU Commission progress-report.
A few days earlier, the teachers of the “Sami Frasheri” in Prishtina opposed the insertion of the subject “Moral and Religious Education” in Albanian school
