KfW and Albania, feasibility study for improving Tirana’s public transportation

The Albanian government and the German Bank for Development, KfW, have signed a feasibility study agreement for improving public transportation in Tirana.
The Albanian government, represented by the Minister of Finances and Economy, Anila Denaj; Tirana’s Mayor, Erion Veliaj; and the KfW Tirana branch Director, Björn Thies, signed the agreement for granting the feasibility study.
The purpose of this agreement is to assess the feasibility of the BRT system for Tirana, studying the financial, economic, social and environmental possibilities for improving the Kombinat-Kinostudio line.
