Right after the Minister of Interior declared that there were two undergoing operations with the German and Spanish authorities, the police announced that in the suburbs of Dusseldorf they had arrested Arber Cekaj, owner of the Arbi Garden firm, which had 613 kg of cocaine seized by the Albanian authorities.
“Information was exchanged with the State Police, the Prosecution and other agencies in a record-breaking time”, the State Police declared.
Other foreign agencies were involved in this operation, such as the DEA. There are suspicions that there are criminal groups involved in this case, operating inside and outside Albania.
