Hunger strike of state oil worker enters third day

On their third day of the hunger strike over several months of unpaid wages, workers at the state oil refinery in Ballsh are experiencing health problems but they say they will not give up.

One of the strikers who fell ill, was replaced by another colleague on Tuesday.

The protest escalated to hunger strike is made in demand 5 overdue monthly salaries and also requires the resumption of work. Workers say that despite the aggravated situation they have not been contacted by state officials, but only by the ombudsman.
