The Albanian Helsinki Committee, which monitored the Vetting process of the judiciary, said that citizens have not demanded the status of justice collaborators.

“Our observers noticed sporadic cases of double standards with the decisions of the Independent Commission of Qualification”, said Erida Skendaj, Director of the Helsinki Committee of Albania.

“Delays with the implementation law, delays with the establishment of the Council of Justice Appointments; High Council of the Judiciary; the High Council of the Prosecution; have created stalemates and problems regarding the citizens’ approach to justice, especially as regards the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court”, said Erida Skendaj.
