The High Council of Justice has started verifications regarding the
decision taken by Judge Arqile Basho, for the way how he has released a
suspect for 5 tons of drugs in Llakatund.

Inspectors have asked the court to seize not only the documents for the court verdicts, but also the procedures for how the lot was cast, since the previous judge who had left the suspect in prison, was replaced by Judge Arqile Basho, who released him.

In Llakatund police seized a record-breaking quantity of cannabis of 15 tons, but no one was detained.

The Vlore Prosecution says that the Vlore Court has released seven suspects, a decision that the Prosecution is expected to appeal. The suspect has left the prison cells with the argument that there is no evidence that the 15 tons of cannabis belonged to them.
