Greece funds news portals in Albania and other countries in the region

Top Channel has learned that Greece is funding portals in Albania and in other countries of the region.

The information is being discussed by sources that show details about the resignation of the Greek Foreign Minister, Niko Kotzias.

There are voices about a financial scandal between him and the Defense Minister, Panos Kammenos.

More than 1 million EUR were paid for several media portals and journalists in Albania, according to Top Channel.

Kammenos says that Kotzias has paid 45 million Euros, abusively, through the so-called “secret budget of the Greek Foreign Ministry”.

Kotzias declared that the “secret budget” mainly pays the Orthodox church, but also other activities in the region.

Millions of Euros were also given to businesses in Albania for building hotels and for buildings owned by the Greek minority in Albania.

Secure sources say that Greece has paid master studies for Albanian officials in Greece.
