The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, declared that our country will not only benefit from mining honorary taxes, but also from mutual profit.
Rama spoke about a new agreement with the SHELL company, which will start oil researches at Block 4 for oil.
“This agreement brings to an end the time when the state budget benefited only from the honorary tax. We have an agreement which is a clear and long-term guarantee for mutual profit, for the best interest of the company and the Albanian people as well. This agreement will generate hundreds of jobs and will have a great impact for the Albanian economy”, Rama said.
For Rama, oil resources could transform the future of Albania, which today guarantees transparency and justice for foreign investors.
