German government asks their Parliament to vote in favor of Albania’s EU accession negotiations

The German government made a request to their parliament for opening the EU accession negotiations with Albania and Northern Macedonia.
Michael Rut, the Secretary of State for Europe at the German Foreign Ministry addressed a letter to the German Bundestag.
“The federal government thinks that the EU Commission should give a positive recommendation for Albania and Northern Macedonia”, says Rut.
