Fernando Gentilini will stay two other months in Kosovo as Special
Representative of the European Union, due to the fact that Brussels
failed to assign a new full-mandated envoy.
The news comes from RTK, referring to Brussels press releases.
Due to the disagreements between the member countries about the EU presence in Kosovo, EU Council, under the recommendation of the EU chief diplomat, Catherine Ashton, agreed to assign Gentilini a temporary mandate, until July 31st.
