Gallup posts corruption perception by country, Albania ranked 20th

The UN reported that 89% of Albanians believe that corruption is widely spread in the country.

Alarming figures came out of a Gallup poll, made on account of the UN.

According to the data, Albania is listed 20th, with 9 in 10 Albanians believing that corruption is widespread in the government and state.

Another alarming indicator is the historic corruption progress, which deteriorated.

Based on historic data, perception in Albania has from 2013 to 2018 has deteriorated, from 84.7% to 88.6%.

Gallup measures corruption asking 1000 citizens from 157 countries in the world.
