Few meters away from the Democratic Party headquarters in Tirana, Edi
Rama inspected the conclusion of the first costruction phase in the Tirana
Central Park, where the works of the road “Abdi Toptani” have finished
completely.

This road with causeway stones, only for pedestrians, gives the residents a possibility to improve their activities and includes conditions for people with disabilities.

The park architects have realized a panoramic cultural and historical trajectory, reactivating some historical monuments, including the restoration of the “Tirana Castle” ruins.

“We are here, in the heart of the Albanian capital. Our plan is to create a central park that shows the tradition of our city with the ruins that came to light and that now have been restored. This park will continue with an improved area of the Parliament Park, and also with all other green spaces”, Rama declared.

Rama mentioned other projects that, according to him, continue the transformation of Tirana.

“It is important to not forget that the other project is the one of the integrated park in the Artificial Lake area, the Zoo and the botanical garden. Another Park is expected to come into light and become part of the other parks in this city, the park at the Train Station, where we predict a radical transformation”, Rama specified.
