Former President, Alfred Moisiu, underwent a surgery this Saturday afternoon.
The intervention was realized in a private hospital in Tirana.
A surgeon that came from Athens placed prosthesis in his knee, since this operation was inevitable for Mr.Moisiu.
During the official ceremony at the US Embassy, for the 20th anniversary of the reestablishment of diplomatic relations, Moisiu was walking slowly, with the help of a stick.
Alfred Moisiu has been Albania’s President in the period 2002-2007.
