Gjirokastra was the first area that was hit by the floods.
The biggest problem is with the roads that have been flooded by torrents, which have also left dangerous debris on their wake.
Top Channel’s correspondent, Kristina Fidhi, reported that many roads, including national ones, can be crossed by vehicles but drivers need to be very cautious.
Rains have stopped and now authorities must work to remove the debris.
