The head of EULEX , Xavier De Marnhac announced that the mission he leads has increased police patrols in Northern Kosovo.
According to RTK, De Marnhac declared that EULEX has started investigations for the burning of Jarinje border checkpoint, the murder of a Kosovo Police agent and other criminal acts that took place in the last couple of weeks.
“We are cooperating with KFOR to increase tensions and to find a solution. This is the priority of EULEX. Violence is unacceptable and we are working to bring the criminals to justice”, De Marnhac declared during the meeting with the German diplomacy in Jarinje.
