Turkey was hit by a 6.8 magnitude earthquake this Friday evening, at the Elazig Province, 550 km from the capital.
22 people were reported dead so far, and thousands have been injured.
The Embassy of Albania in Ankara has announced that no Albanian citizen has been identified so far among the victims.
The Albanian Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs declared that the Albanian Embassy in Ankara, together with the Istanbul Consulate are ready to assist any Albanian citizen who may be affected by this disaster.
