‘Durres Loves Italy’, coastal city shows solidarity with epidemic tragedy in neighboring Italy

The city of Durres has shown today its support with the pain and hardships the neighboring country is going through, as in Italy continues the serious state of the coronavirus epidemic with 59,138 people affected and 5,476 victims.

A large banner on the front of the town hall reads “Durres loves Italy”, accompanied with one heart shape, half in an Albanian flag and half Italian flag. Such a symbolic gesture comes a day after the Italian flag was placed at the Clock Tower in Elbasan.
