Driver of former Interior Minister under investigation

The Prosecution of Serious Crimes is investigating the personal driver of the former Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri.

Gentian Ceka appears not only in phone conversations with Sota, as proven by audio surveillance, but he also meets him and has been reported as the man who forgot the boat driving licenses on Sota’s vehicle.

Prosecutors gave no details about the reason why Ceka is being investigated, but he explained that he had forgotten Tahiri’s boat driving licenses at Sota’s car two months ago.

Sota is also being investigated for the tenders won by his father’s companies during the past years, including the reconstruction of the Kombinat Police Station.
