DP: Process, no manipulation

The Democratic Party reacted against these accusations from the Socialist Party saying that the
process is transparent and not manipulated. According to the Democratic
Party, the only manipulation attempts were made by Socialist observers.

“We heard today the same recycled and unfound accusation of Mr. Rama for the vote counting process, although everything is proceeding live on TV. This is not a criminal process, although Rama repeats these words without any base or facts. This is a legal process that is being held by request that the Socialist Party made at the Electoral College. There are no manipulations. The only manipulation attempts were made by his observer, who intentionally misread the security codes, to send the process out of the tracks. All citizens know that the only way to damage this process is Rama’s constant attempt to manipulate the public opinion”, DP spokesperson Jorida Tabaku declared.

“Mr. Rama is trying to damage the process and deform democracy, simply because he doesn’t like the result. This process has been free, direct and transparent. Only one thing remains not transparent. Why Edi Rama doesn’t accept the strong appeal of the international partners for waiting the results with calm and accept the decision of independent institutions”, Tabaku declared.
